During the summer of 2021, I was spending a lot of time on the beach of Barcelona. Most of the time I was working on the beach on my thesis but sometimes I would stop working and start capturing pictures of the beautiful view that was in front of me. One of these days I encountered a filmmaker from Paris named Manal. For a while we had a nice conversation, upon showing her my work, as the saying goes an artist recognizes another artist Manal and I decided to go for a very spontaneous photoshoot and hence a beach encounter sparks photoshoot out of nowhere.
As the sun started rising, we decided to use the first light of the sunrise to our advantage. Just as soon as I went into the water, I realized it was the coldest water I have ever conducted a photoshoot in. Not only was I shivering but at the same time I could feel the pressure of waves because I was extremely cold. We took a few shots but as I could feel it, it was already taking a toll on me, so we decided to stop. Nonetheless, we were able to capture some impressive shots.
