During the month of February, I was visiting Maastricht in the Netherlands where I finally had time to enjoy a sunny day after a long time. Looking at the opportunity I decided to send out a couple of invites for a spontaneous photoshoot collab. In a matter of minutes, I was lucky enough to get a response from Petra who is a violinist and lives in Maastricht. Since I was going to leave in 2 days, we decided to do the shoot the very next day which was also expected to be clear just to claim the opportunity of seizing the sun.

On the very next day, we walked around the old town and took some street shots and portraits in several different and nice locations. The photoshoot also helped me explore the city in a way I would have never expected before. It was also nice to do some fashion oriented work after a long time.

Exploring local cuture is always a delight but being able to express it through photography is one of the hardest things I have ever done. In 2022 while I was in Pakistan I got a chance to do a culture representation shoot for my own country. Since I come from Pakistan I understood the local culture pretty well. However, after living in Europe for few years it was a little complicated for me to work in my own country since I was not very familiar with the local photography industry. It was very luckily of me to get a chance to work with Maira who agreed to do this type of photoshoot with me in the streets of Saidpur Village.

Personally I really enjoyed the shoot very much. It involved everything from vibrant colors, cultural dress to conveying the local art and craft.

Barcelona’s Gothic Quarter is a place where the old meets the new, and the history blends with modernity. It was an amazing opportunity to capture the edgy and urban vibe of this area through a photoshoot featuring a fit model and stunning graffiti backdrops. Photoshoot in Gothic Quarter is something that I was looking forward to since quite long.

Our journey began in the heart of the Gothic Quarter, where we were met with narrow streets, gothic architecture, and an overall gritty urban vibe. We walked around, scouting for the perfect graffiti backdrops that would make our photos pop.

The graffiti murals in the Gothic Quarter are unlike any other. The bold colors, intricate designs, and thought-provoking messages make them a work of art. We found the perfect backdrop in a narrow alleyway with a mural that featured a striking image of a woman.

Our fit model, dressed in edgy athletic wear, struck poses against the graffiti backdrop, showcasing her toned physique and fierce attitude. The contrast of the fitness apparel against the gritty graffiti background created a striking visual appeal.

We also explored other graffiti murals in the area, capturing the vibrant energy and essence of the Gothic Quarter. The beautiful graffiti backdrops and street art provided the perfect setting for an urban and edgy photoshoot.

In conclusion, if you’re looking to capture an edgy and urban vibe in your next photoshoot, head to Barcelona’s Gothic Quarter. The stunning graffiti backdrops and gritty streets create the perfect ambiance for a fit model photoshoot. So pack your camera, find your fit model, and get ready to capture the essence of this vibrant area through a memorable photoshoot experience.

Picture yourself in Bordeaux, the renowned city of wine, with a stunning model named Alice by your side elegantly dressed. Strolling through the streets and looking at the scene reminded me of the famous French phrase “Rue de la Mode,” or Fashion Street. This photoshoot was one of my first in France, born out of boredom and a desire to capture the city’s charm. I met Alice at Place des Quinconces, we explored the city center and Jardin Public, where her background in winery and tourism made the experience feel like a guided tour.

When I met Matilda for the photo shoot it was going to be very simplistic, but the biggest hurdle was my theme has always been bright and heart-warming while Matilda’s portfolio was centric on being dark and moody. Funnily even though our artistic preferences were north and south our humour and personalities were quite alike which made it very easy for us to work together. During the shoot, I tried to experiment with assimilating dark and moody vibes into my own way of photography thus bringing darkness to light. This was also the first time I finally made a dark and moody edit for someone.

One of my earliest photo shoots in France took place in the charming city of Bordeaux. Known for its rich history, beautiful architecture, and renowned wine, Bordeaux is also home to a vibrant street art and graffiti scene. I was drawn to this location for its colorful and dynamic backdrop, which provided the perfect setting for my shoot. The idea was to create a contrast with street art

In particular, the striking contrast between the red hoodie worn by my model and the vivid street art made for a truly stunning visual display. This unique combination of urban art and fashion brought a new level of excitement and creativity to the shoot, resulting in some of my favorite photos to date. It was a thrilling experience to see the vision of wearing red against the colorful street art come to life, and I look forward to continuing to explore new and exciting locations for future shoots.
